At DNA Direct Labs, we strive to maintain transparency and clarity in all aspects of our services. Please carefully review our refund policy before scheduling your appointment or proceeding with testing.
1. General Refund Policy
  • All sales are final, and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
  • For specific situations, please refer to the relevant sections below.
2. Refund Policy: Scheduling
  • Appointment scheduling fees are non-refundable.
  • We encourage you to contact us with any questions before booking to ensure you are fully informed.
  • If you miss your appointment without providing at least one full business day’s notice, you may be required to pay additional scheduling fees or prepay for future appointments.
  • Courtesy Notice: If you cannot attend your appointment, please notify us at least 24hrs in advance. A simple phone call allows us to manage our time and yours effectively.
3. Refund Policy: Testing
  • All testing fees are non-refundable, regardless of circumstances such as false positives, miscarriage, pregnancy termination, or any other unforeseen event.
  • Clients are responsible for confirming pregnancy and fetal presence before scheduling. DNA Direct Labs does not provide pregnancy confirmation or testing.
  • If you discontinue or abandon testing after the process has begun, no refund will be issued.
  • If one or more test participants fail to attend the scheduled appointment or cancel, no refund will be provided.
  • Tests delayed by the client for more than 30 days from the original appointment date may require an additional specimen collection and incur extra fees.
  • No refunds will be issued for testing delays or result delivery issues caused by factors beyond our control, including laboratory processing times.
  • If additional biological samples (e.g., blood or buccal swabs) are required by the laboratory, the client is responsible for providing the requested specimens. If the client declines, no refund will be issued.
4. Refund Policy: Results
  • For confidentiality reasons, only the test participants are entitled to receive the results. Additional parties may only access results with explicit written consent from the test participants.
  • Turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees. Delays may occur due to shipping, laboratory requests for additional samples, or unforeseen circumstances. No refunds or discounts will be provided for delays or inconclusive results.
  • DNA Direct Labs serves as a specimen collection provider and partners with accredited laboratories for testing. We do not conduct lab testing on-site.
  • Any concerns regarding potential errors or discrepancies in testing should be addressed directly with the laboratory.
  • By using our services, you agree to release DNA Direct Labs from liability for any errors arising from laboratory testing conducted by our partner facilities.
